School Closure Days

When the HTS/PVS school district is on an alternative schedule, Harrison Kids Extended Care will follow the school’s hours of operation.

Early Dismissal:  Harrison Kids will adjust the open time to accommodate the early dismissal of students.  There is no additional charge for early dismissal days.

Late Openings:  Harrison Kids operates out of HTS Gym 3.  On days with delayed student openings, we will do our best to open as early as permissible.  There is no additional charge. (Please note: We do not control the opening of the building and cannot operate in the building if the district has closed its facilities to students.)

Snow Days:    In the event the district has closed its facilities due to inclement weather or unsafe bus conditions.  Harrison Kids student’s have the option to attend for the full day at Fun and Fit Aftercare at 33 S. Main Street.   There is a drop in fee for full day coverage as this becomes an extra day in the school year.   If you wish to utilize this option, you need to indicate so and fill our a supplemental form ahead of time.

Holiday Coverage:   Similar to snow days, when the district is closed for holidays such as Columbus Day, etc. full day coverage will be available at Fun and Fit Aftercare at 33 S. Main Street.  There is a drop in fee for this service.  If you wish to utilize this option, you need to indicate so and fill out a supplemental form ahead of time.
